The Role

As an Electrical Designer/Automation Engineer at Etteplan, you will work on creating technical solutions and systems, being involved from analysis, concept design, planning to project management, construction, implementation, and further to commissioning and maintenance. You will work closely with their clients across different industries, most of whom are leaders in their fields. They primarily operate regionally in Östergötland with offices in Linköping and Norrköping. As an Electrical Designer/Automation Engineer at Etteplan, you will face a variety of opportunities where the need exists both on client assignments and also in-house where they manufacture prototype machines for all industries.

Responsibilities may include:

Developing own products
Practically executing drawings and then having the ability to connect them to reality.
Using your knowledge to, for example, build a test machine

We are looking for someone who:

Has a YH, bachelor's or master's degree in electrical design or automation combined with a few years of practical experience as an electrical designer/automation engineer
Has good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Experience with Catia V5 or Catia V6
Knowledge of Comos, PCS7 or T3000
Knowledge of machine design and development
Strong technical interest
Experience working with clear requirements or quality work
Previous experience of responsibility in the form of project management or team leadership
Driving license B
